There are a ton of different meeting apps out there to help make it easier for prospects and clients to schedule a time to connect.

We have tried quite a few at our own agency but there are three in particular that stood out as the best options.h

The three we like the most are HubSpot Meetings, Acuity Scheduling, and Calendly.

In this episode of Inbound Sales Journey, we explain the best situation to use each. Let’s dive in and break them down!

When to use HubSpot Meetings

This one isn’t rocket science. If you are a HubSpot Sales Pro user you have access to Meetings included with your subscription. If you are already paying for it, you will likely want to be using it. There are some great features with the HubSpot Meetings tool including its design and how well it integrates with the rest of the HubSpot platform.

If you are using the HubSpot CRM and features like Sequences, when a prospect books a meeting it is smart enough to automatically enroll them from a Sequence. Although that might not seem like a huge deal, it’s pretty convenient.

HubSpot Meetings also gives you the ability to create different meetings for just yourself, or round-robin style meetings that can be covered by multiple team members.

If you are not a HubSpot CRM user I wouldn’t recommend making the switch just for Meetings. It’s convenient if you’re already using the CRM, but there are plenty of other calendar scheduling apps to choose from.

When to use Acuity Scheduling

Acuity has been our go-to scheduling tool for a long time before HubSpot Meetings was released. It is far and away the most customizable and has a few more bells and whistles then HubSpot Meetings or Calendly.

In fact, we loved it so much we dedicated 3 Agency Toolbox (our video podcast) episodes on how to get it set up for your agency.

Acuity has the ability for you to charge for meetings, which is great if you are doing some additional work for clients that you want to charge hourly. You can charge them right through Acuity.

When to use Calendly

This is the best options for agencies who are just getting started, are tight on cash, or just want a super simple way to schedule calls with clients and prospects. Calendly isn’t the flashiest option, but it is well designed, sleek, and simple to use.

There are quite a few free simple calendar scheduling tools out there, but none that we would recommend over Calendly. It’s quick, simple and gets the job done.

Any recommendations you think we’re missing?
